Weekend Chef
Joining our fast-paced, friendly and ambitious kitchen will enable you to work sociable hours directly under our Head Chef, with a focus on work/life balance, in a forward-thinking environment, utilising local produce and the best ingredients to create and serve our extremely popular menus to the highest standards.

The Ladybird restaurant is located in the centre of our newly developed garden centre. With a 150-seater restaurant + 50 seat patio area, we aim to offer the highest standards of food prepared and cooked by an experienced team; led by our Head Chef.

The role offers a great work / life balance with a daytime working pattern between the hours of 08:00 to 16:00. This is a permanent part-time position, which includes working alternate weekends.
Every Weekend
Saturday 8-4pm
Sunday 8-4pm

About You
You will hold a minimum level 2 food hygiene certificate.
You will have a pro-active driven attitude towards work and performance.
You will have a real passion for producing fresh food at a high standard.
You will be professional and approachable and work well as part of a team.
Your communication skills will be excellent.
You will be experienced in working in a busy kitchen.
You will be flexible and willing to adapt in a fast-changing environment.
Experience of working in a fast-paced kitchen for 2+ years
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prep cold station & Hot Section
Kitchen cleaning and hygiene
Labeling
General Cleaning Duties
Work the cold section during service
Help out from time to time hot section if busy
Prep hot side dishes if needed
